Monthly Round-up
It’s officially the first day of the month and I feel like I should be screaming, “White Rabbit, White Rabbit.” But I think Mittens has the copyright to that.
So, what happened in April? Good question. I feel like weather-wise, it rained a lot, but also, the last 10 days of the month we had a lot of sunshine. Personal-wise? Hmm, a little more complicated. I had a follow-up visit with my cancer surgeon who gave me good news in that there’s still no sign of cancer. Of course, I have to have a CT scan at the end of this month and, in July, will have a colonoscopy. I can’t say I’m looking forward to that but, if it means hearing more good news, I’ll drink your 8 litres of gunk.
I had a couple of other unpleasant but short-lived health issues in April, which I survived, eh, obviously. Including pulling a muscle in the bottom of my left foot this week. No, don’t ask how I did that, I have no idea myself. I’m just happy it seem to clear up all by itself, though I did spend a lot of yesterday sat on the couch reading. That might have helped.
In a moment of FOMO I bought myself a Lego Botanicals set, thanks Andy, you now have me addicted to making up these cute little plant collections. Very therapeutic I must add. I also jumped in and decided to order myself a Citrus Macbook Neo, which comes at the end of the month. You people are killing me or, more to the point, my chequing account.
Anyway, I can’t wait to be more mobile and to get out and about with the camera when the good weather arrives (if it arrives).
