I love to get free books. So guess how happy I was this morning to not only go and pick up my copy of Shorefall by Robert Jackson Bennett and only have to pay $1.56 — the outstanding balance after the deduction of in store credit, part of my bookstore’s loyalty programme — but then I got to choose a second book for free off the customer’s table. We Would Never a novel by a new author to me, Tova Mirvis.

Of course, I’m looking forward to reading them both. Reviews to follow.
